The processing of stainless steel flange needs to understand and pay attention to some problems:


1. Weld defects: the weld defects of stainless steel flange are serious. If manual and mechanical polishing is used to make up for them, the grinding marks will cause uneven surface and affect the appearance;


2. Uneven polishing and passivation: pickling and passivation treatment is carried out after manual polishing and polishing. It is difficult to achieve uniform treatment effect for workpieces with large area, and ideal uniform surface cannot be obtained. It also has the disadvantages of labor cost and high auxiliary material cost;


3. Scratches are difficult to remove: the overall pickling passivation will cause chemical corrosion or electrochemical corrosion and rust in the presence of corrosive media, and also can not remove carbon steel, spatter and other impurities adhering to the surface of stainless steel due to scratch and welding spatter;


So how to solve the problem of stainless steel flange processing?


1. Select blanking and enter the next process after completion. Different stainless steel workpieces enter the corresponding process according to the processing requirements;


2. During bending, the cutter and cutter groove used for bending shall be determined according to the size on the drawing and the thickness of stainless 304 seamless steel pipe. It is the key to select the upper die to avoid the deformation caused by the collision between the product and the cutter (in the same product, different models of upper die may be used). The selection of the lower die is determined according to the thickness of the plate.


3. In order to weld firmly, the bumps are made on the workpiece to be welded, which can make the bumps contact with the flat plate evenly before the power on welding, so as to ensure the consistent heating of each point. At the same time, the welding position can also be determined. If welding is required, the pre pressing time, holding time, holding time and rest time should be adjusted to ensure that the workpiece can be spot welded firmly.
